Algis Kriščiūnas
Algis Kriščiūnas (born 1968) employs a surrealist style in his paintings to distill the essential idea: life is as we imagine it to be. “As a teenager, I wrote in pen on my wrist - ‘Art makes life worth living.’ Over the years, the letters have faded from my skin, but the inscription remains deep in my heart.” Algis Kriščiūnas expresses himself as a versatile artist—creating pop art, painting, illustrating books, photography, music, and writing song lyrics. His large-format pop art works and photographs adorn public buildings and private interiors both in Lithuania and abroad.
